This collection, from 1963, was shot by Melvin Sokolsky for Harper’s Bazaar “Bubble” Spring Collection. Each photo features model Simone D’Aillencourt in elegant fashions of the time, floating in a bubble through the fashion capital of the world: Paris, France. The bubble was made of plexiglass and it was hung from a crane in each of the various locations, yet the strings that held it in place are completely invisible.
