Parkinson’s ‘Century of Style’

London’s Southbank National Theatre is currently exhibiting photographs by legendary British photographer Norman Parkinson. This exhibition displays his fantastic long career as one of the great pioneers of fashion photography.

Parkinson became famous for his iconic sense of style and glamour, his unexpected and unique approach, bringing a freshness, to the sometimes staid genres of fashion and portrait photography. Beyond the glamour that for many defines his work, he was also an incisive and skillful portrait photographer.

April 21, 2013 marks the centenary of Norman Parkinson’s birth.

Exhibition until May 12, 2013!
