If you could keep only one memory, what would it be?
The V&A presents a dramatic vision of the future through an immersive exhibition experience. Sky Arts Ignition: Memory Palace is a walk-in story that brings to life a new work of fiction by the author Hari Kunzru. This narrative world is visualized through a series of commissions by 20 internationally acclaimed illustrators, graphic designers and typographers.
"Technology and knowledge have been lost, and a dark age prevails. Nature has taken over the ruins of the old city and power has been seized by a group who enforce a life of extreme simplicity on all citizens. Recording, writing, collecting and art are outlawed."
And guess what? Anyone can contribute to the exhibition by drawing or writing a memory that will be stored in the Memory Bank. Each week, graphic designer Johnny Kelly will turn the latest collection of memories into a poster.
I did mine, actually 2 !! Now, it’s your turn!
